About Dr. Izzo/Approach to Therapy: Instead of seeing clients as a list of symptoms or concerns, Dr. Izzo takes the approach and time to see each of his clients as a whole person who has an invaluable story to tell. He makes an effort to ensure that each of his clients are listened to and respected, regardless of their background or experiences. Dr. Izzo tries to make the therapy room a safe, warm, and welcomed place where people will gradually feel comfortable telling him their story. He approaches therapy as the client being in the driver seat and he being in the passenger seat, leading discussions on where the client can go across their course of life or the disorder they are experiencing.
