Sheeva Mostoufi, Ph.D.
Dr. Mostoufi earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from the San Diego State University/University of California, San Diego Joint Doctoral Program. She completed her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship training at the Veteran Affairs Puget Sound Healthcare System – Seattle division specializing in primary care mental health integration as a fellow. Dr. Mostoufi’s clinical training and research has focused primarily on the co-occurrence of various emotional and behavioral concerns with chronic health conditions. Dr. Mostoufi specializes in the treatment of obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), trichotillomania, posttraumatic stress disorder, a range of anxiety disorders, depression, and other emotional difficulties, as well as coping with co-occurring health-related concerns such as fibromyalgia, insomnia, and chronic pain. She additionally has specialized training and experience in providing exposure therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) , mindfulness-based interventions, and has participated in the Tourette Syndrome Behavior Therapy Institute.
